Top Shelf Publishing will release March: Book Two, the second in the anticipated trilogy of civil rights history graphic novels by U. S. Congressman John Lewis, in December, according to the company's publishing calendar.

Top Shelf has not released details on the second book, but in the interim announced it is planning a physical reprint of Martin Luther King and the Montgomery Story, the comic that inspired Congressman John Lewis to write the bestseller, to release in April.

The unique 16-page comic was originally published in 1957-58 by the Fellowship of Reconciliation.  The F.O.R. and Top Shelf recently made the book available exclusively through comiXology as part of a digital bundle with March: Book One, or as a stand-alone download.  The F.O.R. will be publishing a physical reprint which will release on April 30th.  All proceeds go to F.O.R.'s work promoting nonviolence around the world.  (It should be noted that the F.O.R. did a reprint of the comic in 2011 as well.)

March: Book One landed on the New York Times Bestseller list (see "'March' Graphic Novel Gets Massive Press"), as well as ending up on several 'Best of' lists (see "SLJ's Best GNs for Kids List," "PW's Top Graphic Novels of the Year" and "Amazon's Best Graphic Novels"), and finishing at #156 on the comic store graphic novel sales chart for 2013 (see "Top 1000 Graphic Novels--2013").
