Geneon will be releasing its first volume of Ikki-Tousen-Legendary Fighter in August, in regular ($29.98) and collector's box ($44.98) editions. Ikki Tousen is based on the manga released as Battle Vixens in the U.S. by Tokyopop (see 'Tokyopop To Publish Battle Vixens'). The 16 and up anime is directed by Takashi Watanabe (Slayers, Rave, Adventures of Mito).
Both DVD editions will include a double-sided limited edition mini-pencil board. The collector's box will include an Ikki Tousen sports towel and replica of the Sacred Bead required by all the fighters in the storyline, as well as the first volume DVD and the box.
